Current Show:  Yoshi Yamamoto Black and white photographs of Vancouver and selections from William James Frampton’s Great Canadian Spirit series.

Artist Yoshi Yamamoto has been photographing images of Vancouver, British Columbia. These images are impressive for their deep rich tonalities and there sensuous blacks, cinema noir in feeling, elegant form and spirit.

Vancouver’s English Bay Gallery will present preview of these great works. January 1, 2011, the show will be comprised of 36 of the Vancouver based artist’s large and small photographs, powerfully evoking the unique spirit of Vancouver’s history and landscape.

William James Frampton also presents a selection of his photomontages from his Great Canadian Spirit Series. These are images of our power animals that incarnate the energy of the earth.
